Both versions utilize Finisar's internally designed ASIC while the optical product incorporates vertically integrated VCSEL technology.

Laserwire cables can be used to connect a range of different systems and equipment via Finisar's adapter portfolio. Adapters are available for use in SFP+, XFP, and QSFP+ enabling a true plug and play for data center environments.
