Modules in the iMcV-Giga-MediaLinX series provide a switching media conversion between 10/100/1000 Mbps twisted pair networks and 1000 Mbps multi-mode or single-mode fiber. Giga-MediaLinX modules are the most versatile in the industry, featuring seamless Auto Negotiation between three Ethernet speeds on the UTP port, and the ability to force speed and duplex via software or hardware settings.

iMcV-Giga-MediaLinX Modules are easy to configure and manage with the GUI-based iView2 SNMP management application or with any other SNMP application such as HP OpenView. iView2 runs standalone on Windows NT/XP/2000, as a standalone Java Application for other operating systems, as a plug-in module for HP OpenView, as a Web Server running under IIS or as a Java Web Servlet.
